Recently, we completed a solar installation for a company in Rugby that included an impressive 45-panel system, each with a capacity of 500W, totalling 22.5 kWp. Alongside this, we installed 18.64 kWh of battery storage, which allows the business to store excess energy generated during the day for later use.
To further enhance their energy efficiency, we also installed a 22-kW electric vehicle charger equipped with RFID cards, ensuring convenient access for employees to charge their electric vehicles. The customer was absolutely delighted with the results, reporting that their self-sufficiency has now reached around 90%. Not only are they significantly reducing their energy costs, but they’re also making money back from the grid by selling surplus energy. This installation has truly transformed their energy management and contributed to their sustainability goals.
